Competition 5: SEP mini Marathon | 150m - 900m | Esplanade Gmunden | age groups 2013 - 2019 and younger || Start um 4:08 pm (!)

+When do the individual competitions start?

Start for all adult and youth competitions is at 7:08 pm
The “SEP mini Marathon” competitions start at 4:08 pm (the races over the 900m distance start first, the other competitions will start every 10 minutes)

Age

+Can I take part if I am under the age of 18?

The minimum age for the Lake Traunsee Half Marathon (Half Marathon / Genuss-Lauf / Sun-Run) is always 18 years!

Participants who have not yet reached the age of 18 are only authorized to start with a disclaimer signed by a parent. In this case, please contact the Lake Traunsee Half Marathon office at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Race number

+Where can I get my race number?

The race number distribution (Half Marathon / Genuss-Lauf / Sun-Run / Junior-Run) will take place on Friday, 21st of June 2024 between 10 am – 6 pm and on Saturday, 22nd of June 2024 between 9 am - 4:30 pm at HERVIS Gmunden (Aubauerstraße 30 / 4810 Gmunden)

The race number distribution for the SEP mini Marathon will take place at the information desk in the SEP Shopping Mall (Druckereistraße 3 / 4810 Gmunden) on Saturday, 22nd of June 2024 between 11 am and 4 pm

!!! Please bring your confirmation of participation or a photo ID with you to pick up your race number!

+Do I need my own timekeeping chip?

No! The timing chip is already integrated in the race number!

+Can I give my starting place to someone else?

The entry fee for a already paid starting place cannot be returned. However, a starting place can be passed on until the registration deadline on 19th of June 2024 via the registration platform of Time2Win (access code included in your confirmation of participation).

After the official registration deadline, the starting place can only be passed on if a processing fee of €10 is paid.

Note: A size exchange of the event T-shirt cannot be guaranteed. It may be possible to exchange unused T-shirts after the event.

Transportation of participant equipment

+How does the transportation of my equipment bag from the start to the finish work?

Until 25 to 15 minutes before the start, you can hand in your starter-bag with your personal items to the equipment truck or “POST CARS” in the starting area. You will receive a tag with your race number on it when you collect your race number. The equipment will be brought to the finish area in Gmunden directly before the start, where you can pick up your equipment again with your race number.

Equipment pick-up for Bridgestone Genuss-Lauf, Omni-Biotic Sun-Run und OÖN Junior-Run – currently still being clarified (signage will be available from the finish area!).

Equipment pick-up for Hervis Half Marathon at the WOLF-Haus-LKW at Franz-Josef-Platz (signage available!)

No liability will be accepted for lost items!

Event track closed for cars on main road

+Will the main road be closed?

Yes, the main road B145 will be completely closed for 3 hours from 18:30 to 21:30 between Ebensee and Altmünster. Runners who are still on the course towards the end of the road closure will be warned by the final vehicle to switch to the sidewalk.

+Does the driving ban also apply to bicycles?

A general driving ban applies along the entire route! This also includes bicycles!
Excluded from the driving ban are officially approved vehicles of the organizer (lead and final vehicles / photographers / TV-Crew).

Arrival/Departure

+How do I get to the start?

The race number is valid as a ticket for the City-Tram in Gmunden as well as for the ÖBB trains and Busses between Gmunden and Ebensee as a service of the Upper Austrian Transport Association.

Via the registration portal it is also possible to book a boat trip from the finish area in Gmunden to the start in Ebensee/Traunkirchen for an additional charge of only €15. This boat departs from Gmunden (Rathausplatz/Schubertplatz) in the direction of Ebensee or Traunkirchen at 5:30 pm on the day of the event.

+Where can I park?

There are various parking options in and around Gmunden:

Toscana parking lot (subject to charges!)
Gmunden parking garage (subject to charges!)
SEP Gmunden – Shopping Mall (close to the train station, approx. 500 m)
Gmunden train station (Park&Ride)
Engelhof station (Park&Ride) - tram connection to Gmunden station

+Is there a shuttle service from the finish area in Gmunden to the start area in Ebensee after the Race?

The OÖVV together with the ÖBB is offering a shuttle service between Gmunden and Ebensee. The race number is again valid as a ticket!

+Where can I take a shower after the run?

New middle school ("Neue Mittelschule") Gmunden-Traundorf | Annastraße 4 | 4810 Gmunden

+Are there toilets on the course?

There are public toilet facilities in the start area of all three competitions. There will also be mobile toilet facilities at the start in Ebensee and Traunkirchen and at the finish area in Gmunden.

Refreshments

+Are there any refreshment-stations along the route and what is offered there?

There will be several LABE stations along the course:

Refreshment 1: Ebensee landing site at km 5.2 (water / electrolyte)
Refreshment 2: GENERALI: "Rock Lion" at km 7 (water)
Refreshment 3: Traunkirchen town center at KM 11 (water / electrolyte / bananas)
Refreshment 4: at Pizzeria San Angelo at km14 (water)
Refreshment 5: shortly before Altmünster at km 17 (water / electrolyte / bananas / muesli bar)
Refreshment at the Finish: After the finish line all participants receive a "finisher bag" (water / Omni Biotic energy bar / Eggenberg beer / coffee drink / Red Bull / etc.)
Additional refreshment-station at the fountain / town hall square: water / electrolyte

Course/AIMS | Finish time

+Is the course measured according to AIMS-standard?

The course is measured according to the AIMS standard and is therefore AIMS-certified!

+Is there a finishing deadline time?

an official finish time for each participant can only be guaranteed until 10:08 pm (3 hours after the starting signal).
as the main road is closed until 9:30 pm at the latest, participants at the end of the field will be asked by the final vehicle to move to the sidewalk.

Starting blocks

+Are there starting blocks with time limits?

YES! There will be starting blocks at the start of the Hervis Half Marathon in Ebensee!

Starting block A: finishing time under 01:30:00
Starting block B: finishing time between 01:30:00 and 01:45:00
Starting block C: finishing time between 01:45:00 and 02:00:00
Starting block D: finishing time between 02:00:00 and 02:15:00
Starting block E: finishing time over 02:15:00

Pace-Maker

+Is there a pace maker to hit the 2-hour mark to become a Sun finisher?

YES! The "Tips-Pace-Maker" will show the 2 hour mark on the course. If you stay ahead of him you will become a "Sun-Finisher"! This is a cyclist who is marked with a beach flag on his back!
